Worn & Remembered is developing a way to turn meaningful T-shirts into quilts for older adults in care facilities, including hospice. We are early and still building this, and we would love to hear from people and places who want to help it grow.
A favorite shirt holds a story
The shirts we keep longest are rarely about the fabric. They mark a team we cheered for, a trip we took, a job we were proud of, a person we love. Gathered into a quilt, those shirts become something a person can hold close and return to, a familiar reminder of the moments that shaped them.
The idea, simply put
Meaningful T-shirts, pieced into a quilt, kept close by someone who will treasure the memories within it. That is the heart of what we are working toward.
