How It Works
The concept is simple: meaningful T-shirts, pieced into a quilt, kept close by an older adult who will treasure the memories in it. Here is the idea at a high level.
Meaningful shirts
It starts with shirts that carry a story: a team, a trip, a job, a milestone, a loved one.
Quiltmaking
Those shirts are pieced together into a quilt, so a scattered collection becomes one warm, lasting whole.
Connection with older adults
The finished quilt is meant to be kept close by an older adult in a care setting, a familiar reminder of the memories woven into it.
We're still building this
Worn & Remembered is in its early stages. We are still shaping how shirts would be gathered, how quilts would be made, and how they would reach the people they are meant for. We are not yet accepting shirts or taking requests, and we would rather be honest about that than promise more than we can deliver today.
